One thing on my post vacation "to do" list was to plant herbs indoors. This means I needed a visually appealing container to do it in. After some brainstorming I made this cute little decoupage herb planter from an old crystal light drink container. It's small enough to fit on a window sill for optimal sun exposure.
Here's how to make your own:
Supplies Needed:
empty tube like container (ie; old crystal light holder)
old magazine
mod podge
glue stick
soil, and herbs of choice
scissors, a fork or nail
Directions:
cut desired photos from magazine
glue onto container
mod podge over top
once dry poke holes in the bottom of the container for drainage
fill with soil and plant herbs in a sunny window
